Namibia is a country that many people associate with the desert, and it is indeed probably the best location in the world in which to enjoy all that this incredible landscape has to offer. There is so much more than just sand! With this 11-day safari you will discover the western side of Namibia, which includes the Namib Desert, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with many other top attractions.
We will start off with a visit to the famous sand dunes of Sossusvlei before making our way to the coastal town of Swakopmund. From here we will travel up along the Skeleton Coast to the scenic and dramatic landscapes of Damaraland. We will try and track down the desert adapted African Elephant and Black Rhinoceros populations before spending a few nights at beautiful Epupa Falls and the Kunene River. We will finish of the safari in Etosha National Park, one of the best game reserves in Africa.
